In plain language.
This is the personal website of Aaron Robin Christopher. You can browse without allowing optional media. There is no on-site AI chatbot, AI search bar, advertising pixel, session replay or visitor analytics tool in the site’s own code.
What the site uses, and why
- Hosting and sign-in. OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure deliver and protect this website. Technical information such as your IP address, browser, request details and, when signed in, account identifiers can be processed for delivery, security and access control. Aaron’s owner access uses authenticated account details to manage the logbook. Platform session cookies are separate from the optional media choices below.
- The logbook. When you submit a question, the site stores your optional name, question, submission time, Aaron’s answer and answer time. A hash of your authenticated account ID, or your IP address when no account ID is available, limits repeated submissions. This hash is a pseudonymous identifier, not a guarantee of anonymity. A hashed private deletion code lets you remove the entry. Pending questions are visible to Aaron; your name, question and answer become visible to site visitors when Aaron publishes an answer. Please avoid confidential or sensitive information.
- Twenty-Two. The server stores a random round ID, shuffled deck, hands, round state and creation time to run a fair game and count each result once. The game database does not attach your name, account ID or IP address to a round. Rounds expire after 24 hours and expired records are removed when the next new game is started. Combined visitor wins, Aaron’s wins and draws remain as an all-time aggregate. The host may still process technical request logs.
- Your preferences. Browser storage remembers your light/dark choice (
aar22on-theme) until you clear it, and your media choices (aar22on-consent) for 180 days. The consent record contains the setting version, expiry and two yes/no choices. No name or browsing history is stored in it.
Optional content: off until you choose
Spotify supplies album artwork and a short music preview. TikTok supplies the embedded family video. Each service is blocked separately until you enable it in Cookie settings. These services receive information such as your IP address, browser and media interactions and may use their own cookies or storage. Their processing, retention and any international transfers are governed by their own policies: Spotify privacy policy ↗ and TikTok privacy policy ↗.
Rejecting optional media leaves the rest of the site, the card game and logbook available. Allowing music does not start playback automatically. Withdrawing consent unloads embedded media and stops further requests from it; it cannot retract data already received by a provider or clear that provider’s cookies. Use its privacy controls or your browser’s site-data settings for those. Opening an external social, music or video link takes you to that service under its own policy.
Continuous music
The original instrumental runs on your device. It requires no microphone access, optional media consent or external music service, and sends no audio data to a server. Fred again.. and Taylor Swift previews remain optional Spotify media.
AI and your interactions
AI assisted the creation of site code, some copy and decorative imagery. There is no live AI model receiving your questions, card-game moves or browsing activity through the site’s own code. The logbook is a database-backed form for Aaron to answer; Twenty-Two is a rules-based computer game. Read the AI transparency page for specifics.
Aaron’s daily rhythm
With Aaron’s choice to share them, visitors can read up to seven recent daily summaries of his Helio readiness score, sleep hours, exercise minutes and steps, with update times. Helio Insights sends selected daily totals and its locally calculated readiness score using a revocable, write-only sync key. Exercise uses Apple Health exercise minutes, falling back to recorded workout duration when unavailable. No raw records, heart readings, routes or birth dates are collected by this feature, and no readings are sent to an AI model.
The owner-only management page shows up to 32 recent days. Older entries are removed on the next sync; Aaron can clear all stored readings and revoke phone access there. Only a hash of the sync key is stored. The management page also requires Aaron’s dashboard password. Its essential, HTTP-only aar22on_health cookie keeps that page unlocked for up to eight hours and is cleared by Lock dashboard. The password is stored as a salted hash, not in page code. These summaries live in the site’s OpenAI/Cloudflare hosting database. Visitors cannot edit or delete readings.
Retention and service providers
Logbook entries and their associated submission data stay in the site database until you delete them using a code or Aaron removes them. Deleting an entry removes its stored question, name, answer, timestamps, submission hash and deletion hash. It cannot remove copies others may have saved after publication, or service-provider security logs or backups under their separate retention policies.
Hosting and authentication are provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Their retention and transfer practices are described in the OpenAI privacy policy ↗ and Cloudflare privacy policy ↗. This site does not add advertising or analytics tools or sell visitor data.
Your data. Your controls.
Use the private code shown after a logbook submission to delete that question and any answer immediately. Keep the code private: anyone with it can delete the entry. New submissions receive codes; older entries can be removed by contacting Aaron.
If you lost your code, want to request access or correction, or need deletion help, contact Aaron on LinkedIn ↗. Mention the entry and request without sending sensitive documents. Aaron may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting. LinkedIn handles that message under its own privacy terms. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, obtain a copy of your data or complain to a relevant privacy authority.
Clearing local preferences turns optional media off and removes saved theme and consent choices from this browser. It does not delete logbook entries, alter the combined game score, sign you out of the hosting platform or clear other providers’ data.
